Ever wonder in what Westborough Revolutionary tavern the seeds of rebellion were sown? Where the Puritans worshiped in their first meeting house? Where the lighthearted danced, bowled, and watched vaudeville? Where the trolleys slept?
If so, join the Westborough History Bus Tour on Sunday, May 6, at 1-2:30pm, leaving from the back of Bay State Commons. Discover the rich legacy of homes and historic sites that tell the town’s history since its founding in 1717. Town treasures include Eli Whitney’s birthplace; a Postmaster General’s childhood home; and the home of Admiral Louis Denfeld, chief of naval services under President Truman.
