Expect Delays: West Main Street Project To Begin In Westborough

The full project could take two weeks or longer.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Road work is set to get underway on a busy stretch of Westborough.

The Department of Public Works will begin roadway improvements on West Main Street from Route 30 to the Grafton town line on Tuesday, Apr. 21.

Crews will kick things off with milling operations, which are expected to last at least three days. After that, roadway structures, like castings and other infrastructure will be replaced or rebuilt before final paving begins.

Drivers should plan for delays, lane restrictions, and uneven road surfaces during the early phase of work, along with ongoing construction activity throughout the area.
