New Pet Boutique, ‘Barkery’ To Open In Downtown Westborough

A local pet care company is expanding its services into a storefront in town.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A local pet care company is expanding into a brick-and-mortar storefront in downtown Westborough.

WDW Barkery & Boutique, a pet bakery and store from the team at Westboro Dog Walkers, will host its grand opening on Saturday and Sunday. The new business is located at 18 W. Main St.

Westboro Dog Walkers has been in business for 10 years and has taken local dogs on over 100,000 walks, the business said. The new store will add a retail component to its established dog walking and pet care services.

WDW already provides dog walking and in-home pet sitting in Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, North Grafton, Hopkinton, Shrewsbury and Upton.

The new storefront is being branded as a “barkery and boutique,” suggesting a mix of specialty dog treats and retail items.

Business owners Donna and Hope Pilkington first shared the news on social media in March.

During its grand opening celebration, Westboro Dog Walkers will have build-your-own "barkuterie" boards, treat samples for dogs, and new arrivals, including cute accessories.

The grand opening event is expected to run from roughly 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
