Fall Session of Hundredth Town Chorus to Begin
Hundredth Town Chorus is looking for new female singers!

The Hundredth Town Chorus (HTC) will begin its fall session on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. The HTC is a dynamic organization of enthusiastic women, who enjoy singing in four-parts, in a relaxing and fun environment. The chorus was founded in 1949 by the Westborough Women’s Club, with a mission to share the joy of music by singing and entertaining at area nursing homes, assisted living facilities and senior centers. Today’s chorus is made up of members from all over Worcester County, including Westboro, Northboro, Southboro, Grafton, Millbury, and Uxbridge. HTC also perfoms at area events, including Westborough’s Arts in Common and Northborough’s ChristmasTree Lighting. Music includes holiday classics, Broadway favorites, popular music, and folk songs to name a few.
HTC is searching for new female singers to join the chorus. No auditions are required. There is a need for new voices of all ages and in all parts. Rehearsals run Wednesdays only, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the Congregation B’nai Shalom, 117 East Main Street, Westborough. The chorus is not affiliated with the synagogue. There are no night or weekend rehearsals or obligations. All performances are also held on Wednesday mornings. Come to rehearsal and join right in or come to observe what we are all about! No fundraising or ticket selling is asked of its members.
