5 Things to Know Today: Dec. 12

1. The sounds of the season will be ringing at the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St. Two Handbell Concerts will take place today at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

2. You can report potholes directly to the town by going to the Town of Westborough Website. An online form allows you to register the location of the pothole.

3. The Westborough Public Schools are looking nurse substitutes for each of the district's schools. Interested registered nurses with CPR certification should call Human Resources at 508-836-7701 for application information.

4. The Westborough Public Library offers free home delivery for any Westborough resident who is unable to visit the library because of a prolonged illness or disability. Call the library Reference Desk to learn more about this service at 508-366-3050.

5.  The Westborough Food Pantry is accepting donations during its hours of operation. The food pantry is open on Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times, items can be taken to the Westborough Fire Department at 42 Milk St. or any of house of worship in town. Requested items include non-perishable food items and non-food items. These include paper towels, toilet paper, deodorant, shampoo, bottled or canned juices, muffin mixes, crackers, and canned meals.
