Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The Town of Westborough will be auctioning off items remaining in the Forbes Municipal Building before renovations begin. The auction will take place: Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Forbes Municipal Building, 45 West Main Street Members of the public are invited to bid on items by providing their name, phone number and bid amount. The winning bid will be the highest bid placed at close of the auction. Winners will be contacted by phone on Friday, March 24th. Items must be paid for upon pick up with cash or checks made out to the Town of Westborough. All items must be removed from the Forbes Municipal Building by the winner no later than 4 p.m. on March 29th. Please contact the Selectmen's Office at 508-366-3030 with questions.
