Gas Prices Jump 36 Cents in a Month, AAA Reports

This week, AAA Southern New England reported that gas prices are up another three cents over the past week. This is the fourth consecutive week of increases, bringing the current average to 36 cents more than just a month ago.

The organization’s March 14 survey found that self-serve, regular unleaded gas averages $3.47 a gallon. On Feb. 14, the price was $3.11.
