Grocery App Accepted in Westborough
Shop both Westborough Stop & Shop locations with nothing more than your smartphone.

Grocery customers can now go into either Westborough location and scan, tally and bag groceries while shopping using a new mobile app.
According to a store press release, the app is the industry’s first fully integrated in-store mobile experience. “SCAN IT! Mobile also provides personalized, relevant and specific offers to shoppers based on their location in-store and purchase history,” read the release. “Customers can anticipate potential savings of $250 to $500 each year, based upon receiving 8 to 10 targeted coupons per shopping trip.”
The app was originally introduced last June for iPhone 3GS and 4G in three stores. Today, the program includes many Android 2.2 devices, including: Nexus One, Motorola Droid1, Samsung Galaxy and HTC Thunderbolt 4G. By the end of the year, the grocerychain hopes to accept the app at about 45 of its nearly 400 store locations.
