Harvey's Honored by Small Business Administration

Thirteen small businesses in Massachusetts were recognized by the US Small Business Administration and its 2012 Massachusetts Small Business Week awards. Among the honored is , 68 Hopkinton Rd.

“As part of National Small Business Week, the US Small Business Administration takes the opportunity to highlight the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs, small business owners and others from all 50 states and US territories,” said Karen Millis, awards administrator. “Every day, they’re working to grow small businesses, create 21^st century jobs, drive innovation and increase America’s global competitiveness.”

E.L Harvey and Sons was awarded the Jeffery Butland Family Owned Small Business Award. According to the nomination rules, this award honors a family-owned and operated business that has been passed on from one generation to the next. The owner must also serve as a majority owner and operator or bear principal responsibility for operating a small business with at least a 15-year track record.
