Homeless Man Allegedly Steals From a Home, Crashes Getaway Car, Steals Another Car
Breaking: A man was reported to be driving erratically in Westborough and Northborough.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A homeless man was arrested after police received a call that someone was driving erratically on Route 9 on Tuesday morning.
On Dec. 13, at approximately 10:10 a.m., the Westborough Police Department responded to Route 9 West at Indian Meadow Drive for a vehicle that was operating erratically, which eventually crashed into a fire hydrant in front of Herb Chambers Nissan.
Police found a 2007 Honda Accord with front end damage on top of the hydrant, the driver running from the car and heading down Indian Meadow Drive. The vehicle was listed as being stolen from Franklin.

A short time later a report was received from Westboro Toyota reporting a 2011 Toyota Rav 4 stolen from their parking lot. Northborough Police then responded to a report of a suspicious person matching the description of the suspect in the stolen car. He was reported on Davis Street in Northborough.
Westborough police assisted Northborough police and were able to identify the suspect and take him into custody. In his possession, a large bag full of money and personal items belonging to a Thayer Street resident was located. Northborough police discovered that the residence on Thayer Street had been broken into.

The suspect was identified as Robert Severino, 31, and he he listed himself as homeless. He was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle involving the stolen vehicle from Franklin and using a motor vehicle without authority for the vehicle stolen from Westboro Toyota. The Toyota Rav 4 was recovered in the Walmart parking lot on Route 9.
