Whether your family is into sporting events or classical music, the weekend offers fun for kids and families of all interests and ages.

  • Ice fishing families can compete in the on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The derby will take place on Lake Ripple, 69 Worcester St., Grafton. The family event includes prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. For more details, call Post 92 at 508-839-4169 or John at 508-826-9510.
  • Children ages 4 and up are invited to a on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Pottery Barn Kids at the Natick Collection. The tea event is designed for children to share with a favorite doll or teddy bear. RSVP is required and can be made by calling 508-653-4675.
  • It is an afternoon of family fun at the 4th Annual Hastings Winter Festival. The event takes place at , 111 East Main St. in Westborough, on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The lineup includes a magic show, cake walk, basket raffle, live music, prizes, games, crafts, and more. The Hastings Parent Group hosts the event, which is one of its major fundraisers.
  • The Westborough Rangers Varsity Ice Hockey team takes on Algonquin at in Westborough on Saturday, Feb. 12. Game time is 8:20 p.m. The rink is on Bridle Lane, off Oak St. in Westborough.
  • The is hosting a fundraising concert on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. The show features the faculty of the Performing Arts Center of Metrowest and music for cello, piano and voice. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. The museum is located at 123 Union Ave. in Framingham.
