IMAGE GALLERY: Arts in Common Festival

Bay State Green was alive with music, dance, drama, crafts and lots of good food despite the rain.

The Third Annual Arts in Common festival presented by The Westborough and Massachusetts Cultural Councils brought artistry of every form to on Saturday. Despite the rain, residents came in force to enjoy the festivities. From music to dance to drama to crafts and much more, there was something for everyone.

Arts in common "is a special day that brings together the diverse ages, backgrounds and interests of Westborough." Saturday was no excpetion.

Children with painted faces and macaroni necklaces filled the craft booths while parents looked on and enjoyed the serenading of local musicians on the Bandstand Stage. Vendors toted their handmade goods and enjoyed the business and conversation of the townsfolk who came in support of the arts.

was alive with family fun, great music, entertaining shows and, most of all, a grand appreciation for the arts.

Applications for grants in 2011-2012 are available here and must be mailed to Westborough Cultural Council, 34 West Main Street, and be postmarked no later than October 15.
