This event, which was expanded from a week long exhibit to the current month long extravaganza, is highly anticipated by the students and teachers who began collecting works in September. Sky Headland, art teacher at both the and the , said, “I hope the students will take with them a sense that art is always around them, from nature to man made structures…and especially that art is not an isolated part of their week in the art classroom.”

Headland said that she has “gained a sense of time passing, even though it is relatively short, from beginning of the school year until now. The students have showed me how they can progress from the beginning of the year, as youngsters, to now, more sophisticated artists.”
