The Beautiful Weather Was Par For The Course

After last weeks rain delay, the Knights of Columbus Charity Golf Tournament went off without a hitch.

Participants in the 15th annual s Golf Tournament arrived at the bright and early this morning. Registration began at 7:15 with golfers heading to their carts for an 8:15 tee time.  

The tournament is the biggest fundraiser put on by the Knights of Columbus, allowing them to make donations to the Westborough Food Pantry, Scholarships and Awards for graduates as well as contribute to youth programs such as the Special Olympics. The Knights of Columbus is also dedicated to supporting a variety of community needs. 

Included in the registration price of $80 are green fees and cart rental, coffee and doughnuts prior to the tournament, a light lunch (sandwich and drink) and dinner at the .

Out on the course players will be competing for a variety of prizes. The biggest prize of all is found at the seventh hole where the first person to hit a hole in one will win a Jeep from Dan’s Jeep.

After a rain-out on August 15, today's weather was absolutely perfect for a game of golf!
