Westborough Youth and Family Services is looking for a Coordinator to develop and run a new activities program for high school age teens called What’s Up Tonight. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with a committee of teens to plan, promote and run a program of recreational activities for teens (grades 9-12) during the school year. The position requires working generally evening hours during the week and on the weekend to plan and supervise low cost fun activities. Activities will generally occur once or twice a month. The position averages about 20 hrs/month from October through April and pays $16.63/hr. Recommended minimum education and experience: two years of college, with one year of experience running activities for groups of teens. Applicants should enjoy working with teens, be self-directed, organized, fun-loving, creative and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should also have knowledge of the process of setting up recreational programs, including identifying resources, scheduling events, following through to ensure a quality program and working with the media, including social media.
