Library To Host Mini Book Sale Aug. 12, 13

The sale is sponsored by The Friends of the Westborough Public Library.

What’s summer vacation without a good book to read?

Before you head off to your next destination, stop by the Westborough Public Library’s Mini Book Sale this weekend for a great deal. Whether you’re looking for a good beach read, a self-help book, or a few new children’s books, the Mini Book Sale will likely have something for you.

The library has a surplus of community-donated books that must be sold to create room for the main book sale, held in November of every year. This is the time to find good books at a bargain price.  Hardbacks will be sold for one dollar, mass market paperbacks for 50 cents, and children’s books will sell 4 for one dollar. To view some of the frequently added inventory, stop by the Library Meeting Room.

Proceeds from this and all library book sales are used by The Friends of the Westborough Public Library to support the library, its programs and services. The Friends currently provide many of the museum passes and discounts available to Westborough Library patrons. Boston Children’s Museum, The New England Aquarium and Isabella Steward Gardner Museum are are just a few of the many discounted museum passes offered at the library. See the library website for a complete list. The support of The Friends helps make these passes possible.
