Local Church Invites Public to Jazz Worship

On Sunday, Feb. 12, the Congregational Church of Westborough, United Church of Christ, will hold a Jazz Worship service at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Music Director Curtis Richardson has announced that Willie Sordillo, Jazz Worship director from Old South Church in Boston and renowned jazz performer, will return to the church with his alto saxophone.

Soloist will be senior Sara Purcell, who regularly performs in vocal and theater groups. The church’s Chancel Choir will also participate.

This event is open to th public. The church is located at the corner of West Main and Church streets. Childcare and church school is available, and the sanctuary is handicapped accessible.  For more information, call 508 366-2000 or visit www.UCCwestboro.org
