Maine Man Suffers 'Severe Leg Injuries' After Crash With Plow
A worker was struck by a snowplow and then pushed against a tanker.
A Maine man suffered significant leg injuries after he was struck by a plow and then pushed up against a tanker that was having LPG pumped into it.
The accident occurred on Monday around 9:15 a.m. at Transflo, located at 19 Walkup Drive.
Fred Sturtevant, 54, 239 North St., Mechanic Falls, ME, was treated at the scene by paramedics from the Westborough Fire Department and then transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, said police.

Police Chief Alan Gordon said the weather at the time was heavy show with extremely low visibility. The operator of the 2003 Ford Pickup truck that was plowing was Gary Kostrzeba, 44, of 10 Minot St. Worcester.
