Parody by Patch Writer Becoming YouTube Hit

of Westborough is the brains behind Political Kicks, a parody of the song Pumped Up Kicks. He wrote the lyrics to this song about the GOP candidates, though he is not the voice singing it.

Back in the 1990’s, Smith wrote a parody of My Sharona called Buy Wynonna. It became a top request in Boston and was played around the country on morning shows. At the time, he was asked to do radio and newspaper interviews about it. When he added it to YouTube, it was featured on Wynonna Judd’s official Facebook page.
