Predictable and Delicious: Harry's Restaurant Celebrates 70 Years

This family restaurant has been serving up whole-bellied fried clams, shakes, burgers and a lot more for two generations, and 70 years.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — "We have a great concept, location, staff, and we hold on to our key people."

It's the basic key to the success of Harry's Restaurant, according to co-owner Linda Cohen. On April 9, Harry's Restaurant celebrates 70 years in business, under the ownership two generations of the Cohen family.

Harry's, located on Route 9 in Westborough, is a diner-style restaurant that evolved into a unique destination over the years. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, they also have beer, wine, cordials and a complete soda fountain. Open late and serving breakfast all day and night, its extensive menu packed with everything from fish and chips to chowders to pasta, steaks and chicken - even a monte cristo - appeals to everyone from babies to seniors.

"My favorite dish is the freshly baked haddock or sea scallops," said Cohen. "However, clams and onion rings rule! We have created a crew of fun-to-be-around workers. Coming to Harry's is predictable...you get consistently great food and great service."

The anniversary event includes a ribbon cutting ceremony, food sampling, raffles, prizes, and a visit from Mr. Clam Man.
