RECREATION DIRECTOR - Westborough Recreation Department

The Town of Westborough Recreation Department is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the full time position of Recreation Director. This position plans, promotes, organizes, and administers public recreation service and manages recreation facilities, including Lake Chauncy beach, for the entire community, under policies established by the Recreation Commission and the Board of Selectmen. Supervises two full time employees and up to 45 seasonal employees. Recruits and trains 200+ volunteers to carry out various recreation programs. Applicants shall possess Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified candidates will be certified in First Aid and CPR, possess a valid driver’s license and will be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
