Red Barn Gets Westborough's Vote for Best Coffee

Tara Leeds had a hard time hearing us when we called her Friday morning—she was busy making a latte.

Leeds, the first employee hired at , was pleased to hear that , Westborough Patch readers have crowned her employer the best place to get a cup of joe.

Red Barn, owned by husband and wife Mark and Lisa Verrochi of Upton, has been around for 15 years and was founded in Hopkinton. Other locations are in the Boston area; there's also a Red Barn in Colella's Market in Hopkinton.

On Monday at 5 a.m., a new Red Barn will open on Rte. 9 in Southborough, right near O'Leary's.

"I was the original employee here," said Leeds, who has worked at Red Barn's other locations, as well.

Red Barn roasts its coffee in Upton.
