Still a Few Trees Left, But They're Going Fast, Says Civic Club

The popular, annual sale, has moved out plenty of Christmas trees. Get yours before they're gone. Plus, the soccer team has Krispy Kremes.

Anyone still needing a Christmas tree should know that while the Civic Club lot on East Main St still has a good selection to choose from, it is dwindling fast, according to organizers.

Club Secretary Walter Leslie highlighted the fact that there were about 175 trees left at this time last year but all were sold by the final Sunday before Christmas.

“‘This year, due to the good weather and steady sales we are already down to about 150 trees,” she said in an announcement. “While we hate to disappoint anyone looking, with another weekend to go before Christmas it is a case of first come, first served.’
