SureFire Dogs Training Center Joins Baypath Humane Society in Celebrating Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

In celebration of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, SureFire Dogs Training Center is offering a discounted rate on dog training services to Baypath Humane Society adopters.

Held every October, Adopt a Shelter Dog Month is a national campaign to raise awareness about the many wonderful dogs of all types who are awaiting homes at animal rescues. As part of the campaign, SureFire Dogs is encouraging owners of shelter dogs to participate in positive reinforcement training classes, which range from dog companion courses to Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications.

Anyone adopting a dog from Baypath Humane Society this month will receive $10 off training sessions at SureFire Dogs through December 31, 2014. “Training your dog not only results in a well-behaved member of the family but also serves to build a strong bond with your dog,” said Louise Hinckley, co-owner of SureFire Dogs Training Center.

“Positive training methods like those used at SureFire Dogs offer a powerful way to shape our dog’s behavior and help them to be a good companion,” said Elizabeth Jefferis, Executive Director of Baypath Humane Society.
