The Bachelor Holds Auditions in Westborough

Looking for some hot singles who are ready to mingle? You probably never thought to stop by on Route 9, but throngs of beautiful people will be heading there on Saturday, June 23 to audition for the ABC shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. You are invited to audition, too!

The open casting call for Season 17 of The Bachelor will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. in Westborough. Other cities around the country will host auditions throughout June and July.

According to the show’s website, anyone interested in being on the show is asked to send in an application, pictures and video. Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and single. By single, the rules state, “the applicant must not currently be involved in a committed intimate relationship, which includes: any marital relationship (whether or not the parties are separated or currently in the process of divorcing or annulling such marriage); any co-habitation relationship involving physical intimacy; or a monogamous dating relationship more than two months in duration.”

Don’t plan to apply if you are seeking political office or have ever been convicted of a felony. The rules forbid those two items and do not in any way associate the two (just sayin’…).
