This Musician Will See Neighbors in Arts in Common Audience
Westborough resident Luanne Crosby will be among the performers at the town's Sept. 29 festivities.

Luanne Crosby's performance during Westborough's upcoming fourth annual Arts in Common celebration may sound familiar to some to audience members.
They perhaps heard her sing at home, or in her neighborhood.
Arts in Common is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Bay State Green. The Westborough Cultural Council, the town, and individuals and businesses sponsor the festivities.

"It's just really fun to play, because I look out into the audience, and a lot of the people are my neighbors and friends," says Crosby, who moved to Westborough 22 years ago.
Crosby says she changes her Arts in Common performance each year.
And over her career, she has performed both solo and, for 30 years, with a band.
She also writes songs. Her last CD, "The Younger Set," was geared toward kids and families.
Two years ago, her daughter gave her a ukelele for Christmas.
"I have a lot of fun with the ukelele," Crosby says.
That's one example of how Crosby's music tastes run the gamut.
"Being a songwriter, some of my stuff has a jazz base. Some of it's blues. Some of it's rock. Some of it's country. I like to be able to do different styles of music," she says.
