Town Gas Prices Higher Than State Average

The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline today in Westborough is $3.78, over 12 cents higher than the state average.

A Sept. 12 survey released by AAA Southern New England shows that the Massachusetts average for the week is $3.65⁹ per gallon, up a penny from a week ago and one cent above the national average of $3.64.

During the noon hour today, Westborough Patch visited the six town gas stations (we did not include the service plaza on the Mass Pike) and found the following prices:

$3.73⁹ – , East Main Street

$3.85⁹  - , East Main Street

$3.75⁹ – , Milk Street

$3.59⁹ – GasCo, Milk Street

$3.85⁹ – , Turnpike Road

$3.87⁹ – , Turnpike Road

A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was $2.60.
