The start of this year has been great with another Troop 4 scout, Nick Georgian, getting his eagle early in January. Nick is the third son and consequently third Eagle of our troop’s Eagle coach John Georgian. John has coached all of our eagles for the last few years, helping them plan, propose, and execute their Eagle projects. There were no trips in January but earlier this month we did have our annual winter camping trip in which the scouts went ice fishing, went sledding, made 2 quinzees (basically an igloo) for some of the scouts to sleep in, and had some general fun in the snow. We also had our annual casino night this past week, at the end of which all the scouts pooled their chips to share the candy rewards.
