Troop 4 Westborough Shrewsbury Newsletter

The events of Troop 4 Westborough-Shrewsbury over the past month

May brought about another Troop 4 scout, Eric Nerkowski, making the ascension to eagle. The troop went on a trip to see the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut and another to hike in Franconia Notch State Park up in New Hampshire. The Mystic Seaport Museum is the largest maritime museum in the world. The museum consists of an entire recreated 19-century fishing village including many historic boats and over 60 actually historic buildings. Troop 4 also participated in Shrewsbury’s Memorial Day parade by donating food for the veterans to eat after the parade, marching in the parade, and doing the color guard of the US flag and the 3 flags for the VFWs and American Legion posts.
