WATCH: Officers Get Cup Off Skunk's Head, And No One Gets Sprayed

Two officers came upon a skunk late at night who had gotten himself into a little pickle.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—"Furry black male with a white stripe in a a bit of a jam on Oak Street. Call for backup."

This call could have been a stinky situation, but all ended well.

On Thursday, Sept. 14, at 2:07 a.m., Officer Joshua Croft and Sgt. Peter Goodney came across a skunk on Oak Street. Right away, they noticed something had gone awry for the little fellah.

The skunk had a cup over its head and could not remove it. Officer Croft was able to reach in and pull the cup off the skunk's head. The skunk backed up and then just ran into the woods. No one got sprayed, according to Police Chief Alan Gordon.
