Watch Out For This 'IRS' Scam, Warn Westborough Police

Westborough police are reminding residents of a scam hitting the area.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — It's a scam. If it makes no sense, it usually is.

Residents have received calls purportedly from the IRS threatening arrest if the resident doesn't cooperate with them, warn Westborough police to residents.

The number the calls are coming from is 202-800-0789.

"This is a scam," reiterate police on their Facebook page. "Do not engage in a conversation with these individuals. They are very threatening and intimidating."
