Westborough Bank Celebrates Reopening After Renovation

A Massachusetts-based bank's Westborough branch has a new look after a renovation.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Massachusetts-based bank's Westborough branch has a new look after a renovation that updated the customer space.

Avidia Bank at 100 E. Main St. celebrated a new look during a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. The Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of MetroWest said the renovated branch features a fresh, modern design and a more welcoming environment for customers, while calling the project a continued investment in the Westborough community.

The branch includes safe deposit boxes and a drive-up ATM, according to its website. Lobby hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, according to the bank.

Avidia Bank is headquartered in Hudson and has branches in Hudson, Clinton, Westborough, Northborough, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, Leominster and Framingham.

The bank was formed in 2007 after the merger of Hudson Savings Bank and Westborough Bank, both founded in 1869.
