Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

The gift shop features American-made art, gifts, jewelry &amp; home décor, while the studio offers art classes and workshops for kids and adults. From ladies’ night out and date night events to after-school workshops and summer camp for kids and teens, there is something for everyone! We offer glass beadmaking (flameworking) and metalwork/jewelry classes to teens and adults. For ages 7 and up, we offer summer and school vacation art camps. We also host unique birthday party "experiences" for ages 7 to 70, as well as corporate team-building and fundraising events. Westborough Optometrist and Lions Club member, Dr. Khuong Nguyen, received the prestigious Joseph J. Camarda Fellowship Award at the club's meeting on March 16, 2016. The award was presented to him by District Governor E.J. Sowden, shown in the photo on the left, and by Westborough Lions Club President, Ron Pallisco on the right. Dr. Nguyen is seen in the center of the photo. This award is given to a Lion, non-Lion, group, or institution that has gone above and beyond in helping to prevent eye disease and preventable blindness. It is the highest honor given by District 33A for outstanding service and dedication to the community. Dr. Nguyen, of Westborough Eyecare, has consistently supported the Westborough community in providing eyecare and screenings to those who could not otherwise afford it. He has also been a strong supporter of the Westborough Lions Club and its other charitable efforts.
