“It’s not just a matter of not giving – or receiving – the right gift on Valentine’s Day,” Attorney Pollack said. “The fact is, this is the time of year that many people, especially married couples, take stock in their relationships and decide whether or not to stay together.”
Valentine’s Day also exposes a lot of infidelity in relationships, Attorney Pollack added. “Anyone who’s cheating has to find a way to please both their spouse and their lover at the same time– which is a nearly impossible feat to achieve. You can bet that if your spouse has any reason to suspect you’ve been cheating, they’ve been looking for evidence – and if they found it, they’ll be calling us.”
Attorney Pollack said his firm typically seeks a spike of 35 to 40 percent in calls the week after Valentine’s Day. “We stock up on tissues, because it can be a devastating time for many,” he said.
These are among the issues Attorney Pollack will discuss as a guest of John DiPietro, who’ll be hosting the Jordan Levy Show on WTAG on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Attorney Pollack is scheduled to appear on air at 3:30 p.m., and he is available before or afterward for questions.
