Your Child’s Haircut Can Help a Child in Need

The Westborough location of Hair Cuttery is participating in the twelfth annual "Share a Haircut" program.

In August, the at 276 Turnpike Rd. will participate in a program to offer free haircuts to children in need. The salon is one of 800 nationwide participating in the twelfth annual Share a Haircut program.

“The first day of school is a big day for kids and we want to help them look their best,” said Dennis Ratner, founder of Hair Cuttery. “We believe every child deserves a new haircut for the start of the school year and we are eager to help provide them for children in need.”

From Aug. 1 through 15, every time a child aged 18-years-old or younger receives a haircut at Hair Cuttery, a free haircut will be provided to a disadvantaged child in the community.

Since 1999, the company has provided 560,000 free haircuts nationwide through the Share a Haircut program.
