1.  Nashoba Valley Ski Area (Westford)

This ski area turns into a popular camp for children aged 4-14 in the summer. "(It) has a good summer camp with swimming, fishing, biking, nature exploring, crafts, woodworking, zip line," said Rachel Amato.

2. Lawrence Academy Summer Programs (Groton)

The 100-acre campus has over 30 camp offerings for children up to the 11th grade. "Lots of different specialties to choose from. Swim lessons in a pool. Lunches included. Close to home. What more could a Mom Want?" said Caren B., who nominated the camp.

3. East Boston Camps (Westford)

This area of land offers more than 300 acres that contain cabins, trails, and ponds -- with ziplines. The summer camp has operated since the early 1900s.

4. Harmony Horse Stables (Littleton)

This area hosts the Marcus Lewis Day Camp Horseback Camp, a unique and popular summer program that is open to all levels of riders from beginner through advanced.

5. Concord Academy Summer Camp (Concord)

This camp offers a little bit of everything for children of all ages. Camp themes include adventure, academic, arts, and building.
