Alexa Christoffel DiBisceglie, Westford resident and daughter of Angela Christoffel and Alex DiBisceglie, graduated from Cotting School in Lexington on June 6 as a member of the 132nd graduating class. Alexa received The Virginia Birmingham Award for Perseverance, which recognizes a graduate who has worked hard to overcome numerous obstacles and has done so through tenacity and optimism.
Founded in 1893, Cotting School serves students ages 3-22 with a broad spectrum of learning and communication disabilities, physical challenges and complex medical conditions. Its mission is to empower students with disabilities to achieve their highest learning potential and level of independence.
