The morning of Jan. 28, two masked suspects entered Brookside Convenience on Brookside Road. One suspect pointed a semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and customers demanding money and the second suspect had a knife, police said.

Police on Sunday said they have identified and and arrested the suspects after "a week of intensive investigation." More information will be released this week, police said.

Police said they received assistance from Lowell Police detectives, and that Westford detectives "did their job," a nod to the Super Bowl champion Patriots' mantra.
