Start a Career in IT with MCC’s PC Support Technician Certificate Program

Are you looking to begin an exciting career in information technology? Do you have good troubleshooting and analytical skills, and have good manual dexterity? Begin a career as a PC technician with Middlesex Community College’s noncredit PC Support Technician Certificate Program. Enrollment starts Tuesday, July 8, and courses run Sept. 18 through April 30.

 

Instructor-led with real-world lab simulations, the course curriculum offers a hands-on, career-oriented learning experience with an emphasis on practical activities to help students develop fundamental computer and career skills. The curriculum covers building, configuring and maintaining a PC, as well as more advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an IT professional. Students who successfully complete this program will be prepared to take industry certification exams, including CompTIA, A+, and TestOut PC Pro.

All courses will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday nights, on MCC’s Bedford campus. The cost for MCC’s PC Support Technician Certificate Program is $1,350 plus $125 materials fee. CompTIA exam fee is not included.
