Teen Killed In Tyngsborough Crash ID'd
A 19-year-old man was killed in a Tyngsborough crash on Route 3 Sunday, according to state police.

TYNGSBOROUGH, MA — A teenager was killed Sunday morning in a crash in Tyngsborough on Route 3, according to state police. The victim was identified as Osvaldo Rodriguez, 19, of Chelsea. The crash happened on the northbound side of the highway at about 6:30 a.m., police said.

The teen was driving a 2003 Volkswagen Passat when he somehow lost control and veered into the right breakdown lane then off the road into a grassy area, according to an investigation by state police Trooper Stephen Thompson. The vehicle then rolled over and came to rest near the tree line, Thompson said. The teen died at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle.
