Westford Convenience Store Robbery: Suspects Indicted

Westford police said Shane Perry and Tammy Perry robbed Brookside Convenience in January.

WESTFORD, MA — Two suspects charged with robbing Brookside Convenience earlier this year have been indicted, officials announced Tuesday. Shane Perry, 29, and Tammy Perry, 34, both of Lowell, were charged with armed robbery, among other charges. They were recently indicted in Middlesex County Superior Court.

An indictment means a grand jury has determined a trial is warranted based on evidence in the case.

The robbery happened January 28, police said. The couple wore masks and armed themselves with a gun and a knife as they entered the Brookside Road convenience store, police said. They threatened a clerk and customers then fled with cash in a minivan, police said.
