5 Weston Schools Listed In Top 100 MA Schools For 2020

The schools made it onto Niche's list of the top 100 schools in the state.

WESTON, MA — Five Weston school made it onto the list of the top 100 schools in Massachusetts. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. The Rivers School, The Cambridge School of Weston, Weston High School, Weston Middle School and Field Elementary School all made Niche's list.

Whether a school finished first or 100th, there's not really a bad spot on the list. They all received A+ grades from Niche.

The River's School ranked 17th and is a private school in Weston. The school has 504 students and a student-teacher ratio of 5 to 1. The Rivers School has a graduation rate of 100 percent and an average SAT score of 1360. Yearly tuition to the school is $51,400.

The Cambridge School of Weston ranked 23rd and is a private, boarding school. The school has 325 students and a student-teacher ratio of 5 to 1. According to Niche, 30 percent of students board at the school. The graduation rate is 100 percent with an average SAT score of 1330. Yearly tuition to the school is $49,400.

Weston High School ranked 28th on the list and is a public school. It has 705 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1. According to state test scores, 97 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 99 percent in reading. The school's graduation rate is 95 percent with an average SAT score of 1310.

Weston Middle School ranked 83rd and is a public school. It has 514 students in grades 6-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. According to state test scores, 78 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 74 percent in reading.

Field Elementary School ranked 85th and is a public elementary school. It has 347 students in grades 4-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. According to state test scores, 82 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 78 percent in reading.
