Air Purifier Fundraiser Update: Goal Met!

Thanks to the generosity of the Weston community, we have reached our air purifier fundraising goal!

Because of your quick response, students at every level are able to learn in a safe environment alongside teachers and staff.

While facility improvements do not typically fall under WEEFC’s enrichment umbrella, the pandemic has made for unprecedented times. Air quality was identified as a critical issue by the School Committee and Weston Education Association, and with no available state or federal funding or room in the school budget, a creative community-based solution was needed.

The air purifiers enabled Weston to start on time, with students in classrooms, and will empower the schools to work toward increased in-person learning. That is enrichment in its truest sense.

A special thanks to Weston Boosters for teaming up with WEEFC on this effort. Their significant contribution got us across the finish line.
