Burlington Stabbing Suspect Turns Himself in to State Police in Weston

A source told Burlington Patch that Christopher Piantedosi has turned himself in to authorities.

Christopher Piantedosi, the in Burlington of Kristen Pulisciano, has turned himself in to State Police in Weston, a source close to the victim's family told Burlington Patch.

The source said Piantedosi is being taken to the Burlington Police Station. O'Ryan Johnson ‏ @crimeboston tweeted that Piantedosi surrendered to State Police in Weston. 

Police responded to 23 Forbes Ave. in Burlington Thursday night at 6:45 p.m. for a report of a stabbing, where neighbors and online records say Piantedosi lived a woman and two children.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent confirmed late Thursday night that Pulisciano, 38, of 23 Forbes Ave. was stabbed and killed that night.

Leone was to hold a 3 p.m. press conference Friday, to announce a "significant development" in this case. Burlington Patch will cover the conference and provide the latest information.

On Twitter, 7 News NBC also stated a source provided them with similar information. In a tweet, the news station stated "BREAKING: Sources: Suspect in Burlington murder has turned himself in to State Police. 3 p.m. News conference scheduled in Woburn."
