Ever wondered what is inside the Golden Ball Tavern Museum? Join us every Second Sunday of the month (February through November) at 662 Boston Post Rd. when we open our doors for our Second Sunday Open House tours from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Visit the magnificent and fascinating home of noted Loyalist Isaac Jones and his descendants. It's like stepping back in time! Free and family friendly! Come along and learn more about colonial life. You will see what it was like to live in the 18th and 19th century firsthand!
Here you will learn about six generations of the Jones family living in this house for 200 years and the unique role that the Tavern and Isaac Jones played during the Revolutionary War - including the visits from British Spies, Paul Revere’s men and a Weston Tea Party. See what it was like to live in the Colonial era - our museum is filled with hundreds of artifacts that belonged to the Jones family.
You can also visit our 2026 exhibit “Lost Liberties - Broken Promises” . This exhibit is sponsored by Mass Humanities and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
