Calmer Con is a sensory-friendly comics and pop culture convention designed with neurodivergent fans in mind. With a quieter venue, activities rated by energy level, and a Calmer Space to rest and regulate, Calmer Con is designed to be a welcoming place for attendees with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and related sensory sensitivities.
This year, our special guests are cartoonists Judd Winick (Hilo) and Ellen T. Crenshaw (The Baby-Sitters Club), miniature painter Phil the Glacial Geek, and ADHD Essentials host Brendan Mahan. Activities for all ages include an Artist Alley with professional comic artists, cosplay, tabletop and video games, a Young Adult Lounge, comic workshops, trivia, puzzles, and more! Plus, learn about neurodiversity-friendly organizations at our Professional Resource Fair.
