Join us on Sunday, October 25th for a tour of Weston’s two oldest cemeteries with Pam Fox of the Weston Historical Society and author of "Farm Town to Suburb: The History and Architecture of Weston, Massachusetts". The tour is co-sponsored by Weston Historical Society and The Golden Ball Tavern Museum.
A talk followed by the walk will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3.30. Guests are welcome to arrive at 1.45 for light refreshments before the introductory talk. multi-generational program. Works include a trio sonata by Zachow 
(Handel’s teacher), an aria by J. C. Smith (Handel’s student), string 
selections by Kirnberger and Goldberg (J. S. Bach’s students), a flute 
sonata by Anna Amalia (Kirnberger’s student), an aria by Porpora 
(Haydn’s teacher), and an aria by Marianna Martines (Haydn’s student). 
With guest soprano Corrine Byrne.
This performance is 
presented in collaboration with the Sudbury Historical Society. Members 
receive a $10 discount off tickets, please contact the Historical

The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for <a href="https://www.goldenballtavern.org/annual-events/2025/4/30/thursday-open-house-and-tours-at-the-golden-ball-tavern-museum" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">tours every Thursday</a> from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for tours of the museum.
Join us and learn about six generations of the Jones family living in this house for 200 years and the unique role that the tavern and Isaac Jones played during the Revolutionary War - including the visits from British Spies, Paul Revere’s men and a Weston Tea Party. See up close what it was like to live in the Colonial era - our museum is filled with hundreds of artifacts that belonged to the Jones family.
You can also visit our 2026 exhibit <a href="https://www.goldenballtavern.org/annual-events/2025/1/21/new-exhibit-spies-among-us-bchpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">“Lost Liberties - Broken Promises</a>” . History is written by the victors—but what of the ill-fated, whose future was sealed by forces beyond their control? The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is committed to illuminating the “broken promises” of the American Revolution, with a focus on Weston history.
The exhibit is funded by a grant received from Mass Humanities program for <a href="https://masshumanities.org/mh-awards-600k-for-250th-stories/?utm_campaign=2a6dbb18d6-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_01_31_07_42_COPY_01&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=Mass%20Humanities%20Email&amp;utm_term=0_36e0b33628-2a6dbb18d6-475790004" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">"Expand Massachusetts Stories - Promises of the Revolution”. </a>which has a special focus on the 250th. Mass Humanities grants are made possible by funding from the Mass Cultural Council.
