What you’ll find: Gorgeous items donated by local and wider community members—many who are moving, downsizing, or just clearing space. Expect a wide variety, including: • Antique &amp; contemporary furniture • Oriental rugs • Crystal, art, pottery, and jewelry • Vintage &amp; modern porcelain • Original artwork &amp; photography • Kitchenware, holiday decor,, household goods, and much more!
It’s the perfect opportunity to repurpose, reuse, or refresh something “gently loved”—all while supporting sustainability and the growing circular economy.

Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History

WESTON, MA—On Saturday, September 26th, from 10 am to 3 pm, the New England Postcard Club will host its 3rd Fall Postcard Show featuring prominent dealers from throughout New England.
Admission to the show is free. Hundreds of thousands of postcards will be available for purchase—“topical” postcards from automobiles to zebras and “view” cards depicting small-town and big-city views from around the world. At 10:00, club member/speaker Beth-Carroll Horrocks will talk about and display her Pincushion Postcards, after which there will be a small auction, and at 11:00 the sales floor will open. The New England Postcard Club is based at the Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History, 241 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA. The museum is the site of the club’s four events each year: the annual show in March, and three club meetings with mini-shows in June, September, and December. Membership in the club is $20. Home of Loyalist Isaac Jones and 6 generations of his family

Step inside history at the Golden Ball Tavern Museum—a remarkable home built in 1768 where the drama of the American Revolution once unfolded. Built by Isaac Jones, a prominent citizen who famously shifted from Loyalist to Patriot, the Tavern became an unlikely hub of intrigue. In 1774 it was the scene of a violent ransacking known as the ‘Weston Tea Party’. During the winter of 1775, it served as a base for British spies, playing a role in the events that led to the march on Lexington and Concord. These walls have witnessed divided loyalties, secret plans, and a nation on the brink of independence. The tavern, found at “the sign of the Golden Ball,” welcomed travelers from 1770 to 1793. For the 200 years, six generations of the Jones family carefully preserved the home and its stories—creating a rare, unbroken link to the past. Today, the Golden Ball Tavern Museum invites visitors to experience early American life up close. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the museum houses hundreds of original artifacts and offers engaging programs, lectures, and events that bring history vividly to life for all ages. Open year-round from February through December, the museum welcomes visitors every Thursday (10 a.m.–4 p.m.) and on the second Sunday of each month (1–4 p.m.). The museum has a special, week-long holiday event in December which is open to the public each day.
