Celebrate the High Holy Days, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah at Congregation B'nai Torah of Sudbury

Congregation B'nai Torah invites you to celebrate the High Holy Days, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah with our warm, welcoming temple community.

Congregation B’nai Torah invites you to celebrate the High Holy Days, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah during this special time of year. Come join our warm, welcoming, and inclusive Reform temple community. We welcome Jews by birth, Jews by choice, interfaith families and couples, and the LGBT community. Note that on both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur mornings, our special children’s services run concurrently with the main service in the sanctuary.

High Holy Day observance starts Saturday evening, September 20th with Selichot. After a Havdalah service, Rabbi Boaz Heilman will present a movie with discussion and dessert to follow.

Our Rosh Hashanah services begin with Erev Rosh Hashanah Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm and continue Thursday morning September 25th at 9:00 am. Second day of Rosh Hashanah services begin at 10:30 AM on Friday September 26th and are followed by a special Tashlich service at 12:30 pm.

Kol Nidre services begin our Yom Kippur observance on Friday evening, October 3rd at 7:30 pm. Yom Kippur continues with our traditional morning service beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday October 4th. Afternoon services begin at 3:00 pm followed by Yizkor at 4:30 pm and a community Break Fast which starts at approximately 6:30 pm.

We celebrate Sukkot on Friday October 10th and Simchat Torah on Friday October 17th, both at 7:00 in the main sanctuary.

Congregation B’nai Torah is conveniently located at 225 Boston Post Road (Rte 20) in Sudbury. We offer a one-day-a-week Hebrew School, a personalized b’nai mitzvah program, adult education programs and a special “Try Us Out” program with significantly reduced dues for new members.
