Creating Textile with Adinkra Symbols

Join us for a fabulous and historical art workshop!

This multi-cultural and multi-generational program offers a hands on
learning experience combining textile, culture and history. Learn the
historical meaning of Adinkra symbols and find out how these symbols are
transferred to textile by the Ahanti people of Ghana. The workshop
challenges participants to expand their knowledge of Ghanaian culture
while engating in a fun, innovative, art-focused interactive workship! 
Create your own textile art to bring home!



For kids grades K through 6.  (kids in kindergarten through third grade need an adult partner to join them.)
